Darrel Alfaro CEO

Darrel is an essential member of our team, and he has more than 20 years of experience in the industry. He is well versed in managing and implementing Project Portfolio Management, Change Management, IT Governance, and Earn Value Solutions.

Throughout his career, he has served several major clients, which include:

  • NASA ESMD Program
  • Federal Aviation Administration
  • US Army Corps of Engineers
  • Northrop Grumman
  • Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation
  • National Highway Traffic Safety Administration

Skills and Qualifications

As part of his management responsibilities, Darrel handles a key area involving “Business Development Activities.” This role includes up-selling and cross-selling services to increase customer loyalty. Darrel’s skills and experience include:

  • Darrel has worked externally with customers, partners, and field sales to understand market and business requirements.
  • He has translated business needs into specific service use cases and solution requirements, mapped into Oracle Applications’—Project Management, Risk Management, and earned value management processes.
  • He has conducted and supported field sales and planning activities, including workshops, internal webcasts, and conducting ongoing sales planning and client program reviews.
  • Darrel assisted with prospect qualification, relationship development, proposal development, and deployment action plans to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
  • He created internal and customer-facing presentations, solution briefs, articles, and other industry-specific content.
  • He conducted and supported customer briefings as the subject matter expert in the areas of service provider challenges and relevant Oracle/Primavera solutions.
  • He is responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of consulting teams and contractors located in multiple client locations.
  • He has managed the competencies of the team to anticipate and meet demand.
  • Darrel provided skills development and training as required to deliver these competencies.
  • He is responsible for revenue streamlining, contract funding management, bonus allocation, and overall profit and loss management.
  • He developed, reviewed, and reported on the business development division’s strategy, ensuring the strategic objectives are well understood and executed by the team.
  • His focus is on offering customers other product/solution lines that will help them improve their business.
  • He consistently delivers solutions that are integrated with current product lines being implemented.
  • Darrel developed and maintained long-term relationships with existing large customers.
  • He developed and implemented effective sales strategies and effectively used a consultative sales strategy to overcome client objections during the sales cycle.
  • He collaborates with internal and external teams to ensure effective delivery to support client needs.
